Status and Governance

ESC Lille is a private, not-for-profit, management school.

Within the network of French business schools, it is the only institution of its kind not associated with a parent institution and remaining independent of any chamber of commerce, university, or network of other private school. Its legal status is that of an association, under the law of 1901.

It is run like a company: it has a Chairman and a Board of trustee, to whom a President and an Executive Council report.

The mission of the school is to prepare high-quality graduates for high-quality employment with strong career prospects. To this end, ESC Lille relies on its faculty as well as its links with national and international professional bodies and research. ESC Lille also maintains contact with an increasing number of recruiters every year in order to meet the changing needs and expectations of companies in terms of knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
