Business Law Track - Bachelor of Law

Presentation

2 or 3 year programme leading to a double degree: A Bachelor of Law from both ESC Lille and Université du Littoral – Côte d’Opale.

This programme also prepares students for the entrance examination to leading French business schools.

Licence 1 is the first year in Law (60 credits);

Licence 2 is the second year (60 credits) and it prepares students to get into the 1st year of French business schools;

Licence 3 is the third year of the programme (60 credits) and it prepares students to enter the 2nd year of French business schools.

To obtain the Bachelor of Law, students have to pass the university examinations of year 1, 2, and 3 of the partner university, as well as extra tests (preparation to

the business school entrance examinations).

As decided in the cooperation agreement between ESC Lille and the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale, the entire programme is taught on the premises of ESC Lille in Lille.

The faculty comes from the partner university.

The content of the programme is the same at ESC Lille as it is in the University: same courses, same examinations, same dates, and same hours.

The preparation to gain entrance to French business schools includes extra courses of English (written tests and development of oral skills), a second foreign language, general culture (literature, arts, economics, political science, etc.), synthesising various texts, mathematical and logics tests. It represents 10 hours of class

a week. Two mock examinations and help from the Career Service are also planned every year. The content of the programme and the small classes ensure a high rate of success to the Bachelor’s degree (nearly 100%) and entry to Business

schools (90%).
