Temporary accommodation in Lille and Paris
Students who do not have reserved a room in advance can obtain advice from the Tourist Office of Lille and Paris, and contact hotels.
Accommodation in Lille and Paris
ESC Lille does not have on-campus housing, but the School has partnerships with private residences. Students can apply to live in the residence halls of the universities of Lille and Paris (CROUS).
Participants can also contact real estate agencies, visit the school’s classified ads website or meet the Accommodation Service staff during the summer time in Lille. They can post ads at the school and ask for advice from their programme manager.
Immigration, Visa, et Cartes de Séjour
-
EU students
EU students must have a valid passport or ID card. They no longer need a long-term student visa.
-
Non EU students
Before leaving, non-EU students need to obtain a long-term student visa (category D) at the French Embassy of their home country. Once in France, if their visa does not exceed 11 months, they are required to obtain a student temporary residence permit. It is valid for one year and is renewable. The International Department of ESC Lille can help them with their application for a temporary residence permit. More information is also available on the Egide and CampusFrance websites.
